In My Mailbox [1]

Well, I think I can safely say that I'm starting 2013 off on the right foot. Only the second week in, and my library card's already being swiped with the expertise of a die-hard fashionista armed with her daddy's Mastercard, my NetGalley dashboard doth runneth over, and the first package of the year appeared in the mail (!!! - more on that when you scroll down).

Of course (yes, yes, being a book blogger, you always have to be mindful of the disclaimers), it's the beginning of the year, I haven't been exposed to the drama llamas, unattractive cover designs and disappointing debuts, and the world is still glimmering with after-holiday magic, blah blah blah.

BUT it's still the beginning of 2013, so let's put the disclaimers aside just this once and enjoy our reading, yes?
