An earthquake and the discovery of a mysterious antique mirror unleash forces that jolt sixteen-year-old Addie McNeal back to 1917 Seattle, just as the United States is entering World War I. Addie finds herself shuttling back and forth between past and present, drawn in both times to the grand Jewel Theater. Alright, I'm kinda sitting on the fence with this one, as GoodReads and Amazon contradict on publishing dates (GoodReads claims it's already been released for a month, and Amazon is requesting pre-orders). Eh, I'll go with the book distributors. I think they know what they're talking about.
In any case, I am loving all these stories about time travel recently. Historical fiction with just the right dash of contemporary - now that's what I'm talking about.
(By the way, this title also features on the wish-list I am currently whipping up for this month's RAK. Just saying...)
